Machine sanding and current floor finishes are not always suited or an appropriate option for an aged timber floor.
These methods can often destroy not only the timber itself but also the aged character that has taken time to create.
Our alternative method is a more sympathetic approach. Rather than removing the imperfections in the wood, we acknowledge these as history.
Using hand stripping systems followed by colour matching and easily maintainable and re-coatable durable floor products, we can prolong the life of the floor. Varnish, oil or wax finishes are available.
This approach is particularly suited to historically important floors.
