Mulholland Restorations began work on the interior restoration of paint scheme for the Catholic Church, St John the Baptist, Clifton Hill. late in June.
These works are now essentially completed. The interior has a contempory and warm terra-cotta colour to the main walls. The colour is based on original paint colour selection identified during investigative work.
Woodgraining has replaced white painted timber sections, stone finishes have been introduced to replace white painted plaster and pressed metal ceilings have been colour glazed to pronounce the design previously painted in white paint.
Final finishing works will be completed when new carpet is installed next month.
