Our company has been using fibre glass membrane for various applications since 1970. A good working relationship with the manufacturer allows a variety of thickness membrane to be supplied for specific projects.
Used mainly for durability purposes and dealing with hairline cracks, the material allows for the expansion and contraction which will take place to occur without causing a split or perforation of a paint film as a protective layer, leading to premature failure due to splitting. We will apply fibre glass to exterior projects and can develop a system to achieve approx. 50 year durability. We will also use the material on internal applications to avoid cutting minor cracks open, skim coating and the recurrence of cracking under some of our very decorative work.
We have applied fibre glass to entire buildings for particular results. We are unaware of any failure of this system since 1970 when we started specific job applications.
